Default gapping platinum sparkplugs

Hey, last week i bought some ngk g power platinum's for my 99 gs, and the Ask Somebody Else certified parts pro at my work said not to gap them because the electrode is to thing. So i just put them in like that, but it got me thinking.

It would be quite difficult to gap them. The electrode would most certainly break IMHO. They should be pregapped from the factory.
