Default Skunk2 Pro S Coilover: Strange Question

EDIT: I had also logged a tag with Skunk2 on their support page about this and they quickly got back in touch with me to let me know that the shock with the longer threads is the "newer" design while the other is from the "older". They said that they can replace the older shock with the newer one so problem solved. They were real quick getting back in touch with me and very friendly so

Been a member for a while but I usually don't have to post because search brings me all I need.
But this time it didn't. Maybe I wasn't trying hard enough.

Anyhoo

I ordered a set of Skunk2 Pro S Coilovers (Part # 541-05-5720) the other day for my '99 Integra LS and began assembling the front components when I noticed this:

__________________________________________________ __________________

If you look at the right shock it's threads are roughly about an inch longer then the left. Shown closer in this image here:

I'm going to wait on installing the kit until I hear some feedback from either the dealer I purchased the kit from, skunk2 themselves, or someone here on the board that has dealt with this particular kit before that can tell me the reason between different thread lengths. On the surface it looks purely cosmetic and doesn't seem like a major problem. So anyone who's dealt with this before please chime in. Thanks a million

that is pretty weird. i would wait to see what skunk2 and your dealer says to see why that happened. i also ordered a set and waiting for them to come in due to the international back order.
