Friend can't lleave work b/c her Accord won't start. ingition is turning fine but engine will not start. we tried doing the whole push the car and pop the clutch and it wouldn't start then either.

 

My friend is trying to leave work. Someone pls give an idea.

 

It sounds like the same problem I had in my 91 we eventually found out that it was the coil in the distributor. I would definetly check that out it was easy to fix but it wasn't too cheap.

 

could it be a fuel pump thing too? I was fine when she went on break

 

It could be I guess but that sounds like the same prob I had. I came home from work parked the car went back out to go somewhere about 30min later and all it did was set there and turn over I thought it was out of gas or something.
