i was driving down the road and the engine made a loud bang type noise then shut off, and i have not been able to get it started again. at first i thought it was the timing belt that had snapped. i was able to remove the valve cover today and found that the timing belt is still in tact, not broken for even shows signs of excessive wear or any wear at all.
i did discover that the banjo bolt had broken on the fuel filter, that was replaced. i know that fuel is getting to the fuel filter and going through it. do to the fuel that spilled from it. any elp on this topic would be much appreciated. i really want to resurrect my baby.
