I'm sorry, but they are all chinese/taiwanese made crap from the same factory.

get PIC or Eibach or at least Koni/GC or a good sleeve over and illuminas.
All of those are many times better than the bottom feeding full coilovers that come out of china and taiwan.

Plus you will be able to replace components instead of buying whole sets.

Ditto...I've been told the same by a very reliable source. D2, F2, ksport...all the same CRAP

theyre all the same and all feel great new, mine are a little weak up front now(k-sports for ef) but going straight its fine. if koni made the shocks instead of whoever else makes them for these brands theyd be great 1pcs for long term use....

Well last year i bought KYB GR-2's and megan racing sleeve overs and i absolutly HATE this kind of setup so i want a full coilover setup for sure... im not a huge fan of Skunk2's they seem a bit softer then what im lookin for but im sure the quality is great! my buddy had Ksport's on his 240 sx and deffinitly used em to the max and they where GREAT!! just wondering if they are that good for Hondas... what kind of spring rates do each of these have? i wana go pretty stiff...

I guess i understand that quality is at a little bit of a loss compared to Eibach... But I'm not a big fan of lowering springs that ride liek stock... Eibach's prices are outragous and im looking for somthing that actually makes the car handle GREAT...not a little better then stock... thats just a waste of time and money...

ummm, eibach springs are installed on many many many different types of coilover setups. they arent just 'stock replacements'.

call them up and work something out. i believe eibach springs are used on the GC coilovers. add some koni shocks and you have a very respectable setup for racing.

I think eibach is the largest manufacturer of springs in the US.

I ride on a Koni/GC setup. 400lb springs up front and 500lb springs in the rear. Plenty stiff, not stock-like at all and it handles as if it were on rails.

The bigger springs in the rear help the car rotate and turn in a lot better in tight turns. Remember that these are still a "Sleeve-over" setup but they will definitely outperform most, if not all full coilovers in the same price range. Koni/GC has been proven to work and they won't let you down within the year like most of this China made ****.

oh and...you can tell the difference between Koni's soft and stiff settings. There is an actual range there, unlike many of these other brands that are hella stiff on soft and will make you **** blood on the stiffest setting.

wouldnt you want the stiffer springs in front? and like i said i HATE sleveovers.. I like the idea of completely rplacing the stock top-hats. ive been in a lot of cars with many different suspension setups and my friends s14 with Ksports handled amazing... didnt ride too bad for how stiff they where either. I also have a friend with F&F f1's on his ek coupe and he couldn'y be happier with em... I guess i just dont see the "Shitty" quality of these 2 brands... if they where THAT bad dont you think this thread would be filled with unhappy post about these coilovers??

you havent looked into the extended tophats for the koni/gc setup, have you?

KYB GR-2's and megan racing sleeve overs are nowhere near the same as Koni/GC.

literally some of the best suspension components for the EF chassis...

you can get custom spring rates and custom valving or extended tophats for the struts. The Ground Control Topmounts relocates shock upward 24mm to allow extra suspension travel.

^^^give it time...

then again, its your car. install whatever you want. use the search function to see what the "BEST" setup has been for the EF chassis. many roadracers and professional drivers swear by them.....

cheers

I'm no pro but I'll swear by them. I will tell you that just because suspension is stiff doesn't make it good. I've been in and driven many different cars with different suspension setups and I can honestly say that I used those experiences to choose my koni suspension...because they are they best bang for the buck for our chassis.

where did you find that number? i'd say you could get them for around $800 if you opened your eyes.

you gotta pay to play.... GC/Koni.

and yes, most tein coilovers are junk. at least the ones that people put on EFs are doo doo.

...but you know it all. get the D2s and be happy with the purple bling.
