Default CEL Light Codes 7 and 16

I see that the 7 is a TPS fault and the 16 is the Injector fault.

Anyone know of a place to get the TPS setup? I called my Honda dealer and they said no longer available and id it was they wanted a loan on the house to get it..

The car will Idle high and have a tip in stumble at times but still runs ok... Anyone have a good used one or know of someone who can fix this one?

It is the 1.5l hatchback car..

Did you try resetting the ecu to see if the code comes back? In a '88-'91 dpfi set up even changing the tension on the throttle cable can cause a cod 7. The code 16 is your injectors going out. That code may not return after you reset the ecu. If the problems still persist I will sell you a dpfi throttle body with a new tps and injectors for dirt cheap. Pm if you are interested

Can't help you out with the TPS, but...

Your code 16 is for the injector circuit and is triggered when there is a break in the electrical path. It could be caused by many things. A loose fuse, resistors, clips, main relay, and all the wiring in between. My vote is the main relay. A cracked solder joint opens intermittently and sets the code. Normaly the fuel pump side of the relay opens up causing a no start condition, but the other side powers the injectors.

The car has shut off a couple of times.. I wonder if that is what is happening... Also the throttle cable ifeels like it sticks at times.. I wonder if that is causing the TPS problem also..
