When I turn my wheel right after starting up the power steering belt seems to lock up and create a horrible squeeking sound, I looked at it with the hood open and the belt stops moving when the noise happens... Its really embarassing , especialyl with a bad paint job lol

How can I fix this quick? and no sarcasm please...

 

sounds like the belts loose and slipping. By now its probably glazed so replace it.

 

You know how to make your PS pump push upward to tighten belt? Its a butterfly nut on the top, you have to loosen two bolts on the side, so the pump can move up and down, and tighten the butterfly thing until the belt is nice and tight, and tighten back the 2 nuts to whatever torque specs you can find here in H-T and you're good to go ( Of course after installing a new belt, don't reuse that belt.) good luck!
