vaccums driving me crazy!!plz help!!
just finish mpfi swap on my 90 crx dx. i used si manifold with obd1 injectors. now i need to hook up vacuums correctly. i got a y connecter and connected the two that run from the map sensor ans hooked it onto the one on the throttle body.... thats correct right?? no how the **** do i hook this little unit up??

this is the unit, it is off the car because when i tried hooking it up, it would make my car idle at 2000-3000. i was told it is to regulate when the stuff in the charcoal canister needs to be let out. the ones i see on other ppls only have one peice for a vacuum to run in but this one has two....

that appears to be the dashpot from the 88 Si which used a dashpot control solenoid valve on the firewall - that is the reason for the second vacuum nipple - the solenoid controls the idle - the 89-91 Si had a fast idle control valve on the back of the intake manifold and the dashpot had one vacuum port
this is the 88 Si vacuum diagram

this is 89-91 Si vacuum diagram

so i guess im better off geting the 90-91 dashpot then huh..... thanks for the info bro, am i right hooking the two vaccums together tho?? the two coming from the "map sensor" they hook to the one on the throttle body. can i just cap the other one until i get a new dashpot??
