Default aem intake problem

ok i have a 98 civic cx, i put a 98 ex intake manifold on my car. today i put the AEM cold air intake on my car, and now im getting a code 45 which is "system to lean or rich" wtf I though a intake is a plug and play thing, i have never seen this problem on any other civic or integra. my friend who is better then i am with hondas, sais i should get a B&M fuel regulator or something, we are about to put a 96 prelude si fuel regulator on to see if it throws away the code, i mean i would rather run to rich then to lean. here we go, if anybody know what the problem is hit me up asap, thanks in advance.

Did you swap injectors with the intake manifold?

Have you had someone tune the engine?

Get an A/F guage or a EGT to see what you are running..or look at the spark plugs.

Maybe you are forcing too much fuel in.

I agree, whats the point of having a FPR if you don't tune with it?

So A/F guage + modify FP =
