Tire question...will it fit?
will 225 45 15 Hoosiers fit on my stock wheels and not rub?
I am sure someone has tried this. I have an opportunity to get some tires from a local race team, but I don't want to go buy new wheels.
Thanks

In the front you'll be fine with H&R 5mm spacers with stock wheel studs.
In the rear you'll need a 5mm spacer which will require extended wheelstuds.
I've run 225/45/15 Hoosiers in the front with 5mm spacers. I have stock suspension.

I don't think so. Some people fit 225 Kumhos on stock rims in the front only, and that's with the use of spacers. The rear will not fit without at least rolling the lip. 225 Hoosiers are wider than Kumhos, so they probably won't fit. Some people say 205 Hoosiers are about the same width as 225s of other brands.
Even if they fit it would be a very bad idea. The tires will be pinched far too much and will be squirmy. 225 Hoosiers need at least a 7" rim to be comfortable.
