how much power will a type r trans hold on boosted moter
How much power will a 00 Integra type r trans with a 4.4 dinal drive and a Clutchmasters Stage 5 4 puck solid disc clutch hold?? i no they say the clutch is rated for 400 Hp but iv seen people on here qoute 440 hp daily driven with no probs... was wondering how are these trannys what are they usualy good for power wise before they start to go ?
some people break that with 180 horsepower, other people have no issues at 700 horsepower. the way you drive it will dictate that.
an "upgraded" transmission is going to cost you about 4g's so i'd try to make your stock one work lol

Yea its just about being a smooth driver, preloading, and knowing how the car drives. You should be able to drive on stock axles. Basically I think a lot of people prefer stock axles cause if something going to break, they'd rather it be an axle snapping that takes 30 mins to change out, rather than a transmission..

Yea sounds like he needed some traction bars and/pr some solid motor mounts. I will be putting my traction bars on asap once the motor itself is running correctly. Already have the solid motor mounts in there, but its not a gurantee I won't get wheel hop.
