nice...that would work great when we're tracking the R. Maybe offer it in white too as its gonna be pretty warm.

Yeah, I was wondering about that... Andy said he didn't think so. How can I find out?

I've seen responses from people for White, Grey, Black, and short and long sleeve. So, we need to decide which to order. We can do one long sleeve color and one short sleeve color, so it looks like people want grey long sleeve, and maybe black short sleeve. We need to take a vote.

After some quick research, I came upon the following thread on a t-shirt forum...

My understanding, is that we can use logos for our own persoanl use, as long as we're not producing mass quantities and selling for a profit. Let me know what you get from it...

Andy and I want to do this because we enjoy being a part of the Type R community and its a fun reminder of track events we've participated in. We're not doing this to make money. We're just looking to be reimbursed for the cost.

I get red X's, who's it hosted with?

All colors "could" be done (referring to T-shirt color) On the black ones, you may have to have a thin white border. The T-shirt guys wouldn't even have to change anything, as the white border wouldn't show on the white shirts.

Just food for thought, with such a variety of responses. If you want more info on this, just LMK.

 

I still don't understand why you have to use someone else's active logo for the shirts, is it that hard to come up with something a little unique? Different? I just saw a bunch of these shirts this weekend...

We need something unique to the ITRCA crowd. Something like the past of a T-shirt contest, but if that is going to be the case it needs to be started now.

 

Shows up for me fine, does the picture I posted show up? It's pretty much the outline of the Integra like so, with Expo 8 on top of it.

I personally don't have anything to do with teamintegra.net, but that site has been around for 8 or so years and the owner of it has a lot of money invested into it, as well as into his merchandise. I know if it were me, I wouldn't be to happy with someone knowingly taking my logo for clothing, just saying...

Yes, I can see the one you posted. I just think it would be a better idea to let some of the PS guru's in here design a shirt unique to our group.

I also agree with you on not wanting someone to take my logo. And further more, I wouldn't want us to be associated with TI. Not that they are bad or anything, but this is our group, our expo and has been for years.

as far as the car outline,i see the point about it being someone elses logo but i dont think theres to many different ways to draw an outline of an integra.

 

i'd be in for at least 1 xl in grey or an off white
