2003 RSX performance package
It is kinda expensive and not worth it if you ask me. But I'd get it if it cost half as much. http://hondanews.com/forms/acura/index.html
It is kinda expensive but they do have a point.. you get to keep your warranty.. personally I wouldn't buy it, none of it really gets my attention except the metallic interior trim, I wonder how that would look..

Whelp, it looks like those of us who had faith that Honda is not stupid have been proven wrong. Either this performance package is meant as an R stop gap or Honda thinks that we'll be happy with it and is not bringing the RSX-R period. Thanks a lot Honda, now I will definitely go shopping elsewhere.
Ok North America: We won't give you the Type R, but we'll sure as hell try to charge you for it!
What a load of crap!

There are some really nice pics of this on http://beta.vtec.net - look in the box in the upper left center of the screen...

"they get to not void their factory warranty"
unless the part you installed is directly the cause of a broken part they cant void crap.
Like everyone else said. All the price of an RSX-R and none of the performance.

5ooo.oo for a bodykit and upgraded brakes?? hell NO!!!!!! I guess honda is trying to get more money for "parts that wont void the warrenty" yeah right, like the previous post said, if the part contributes to the problem, then your screwed. weather it comes from the factory or not, trust me honda will try to find a way out of fixing your car even if you have thier parts..
I'd get a rsx type S and upgrade it myself...
brembo set up::25oo.oo
exhaust: 500.oo
injen intake: 250.oo
dc header: 300.oo
falken azenis: 85.oo x 4 for 16 inch tires for stock rims..
total:3890.oo for a better set up, and more power....
Lets see....5000.oo for a body kit, brake upgrade and rims or..
3890 for brembo set up, injen intake, dc header, exhaust, and falken azenis.. hhhmmm... I'll let you decide....

The interior looks the same!! I guess we all agree that the deal blows.. it would have been better if they modded the engine a bit too.. I would consider it if it had like 20 extra hp with it or something..

So you may want to add different springs to your estimate. I still agree with you - you can spend much less and get a lot more.
The wheels are nice looking though.
Coilovers: 2000
Good Brake pads (f): 120 - Panther Plus/XP - Brembos are not really needed for good braking, IMHO
17x8 wheels with Azenis tires, lugs, mount, balance, etc.: 1200
Body kit - who needs it, unless that huge spoiler will actually provide downforce at speed
Interior trim - who needs it - not much different from stock
This kit seems to mimic the TRD kit that you get with the Celica GTS...
For 5 large, they should have breathed on the engine, suspension, brakes, and thrown in the Limited Slip Differential. But then, that would be a type-R (almost).
well it obviously is not for us. we are looking for real performance. but some people would rather buy the car like that and be done with it. i mean look how many celicas are out there with the "TRD" package.
