Default will any high temp paint work on calipers?

I'm going to replace my rotors and pads soon so I should paint those crusty things at the same time. Can I just use a high temp engine paint, or should I break down and buy the overpriced "special caliper paint" which is most likely some sort of industrial exopy paint? Thanks.

I have painted with both and they seem to do the trick nicely. Though the "special paint" leaves a glossier finish and it looks asthough it was powder coated. IMOP i would get the "special paint", it looks better
