Default z6 in limp mode

so i did a mini me swap and rushed the end of it by not getting my head resurfaced and used a cheap HG and reused headstuds being an idiot and i got that running and blew the rad by the time i got home. ran so good tho haha. cracked the block. bought a complete z6. low miles from an auto. swapped that in and starts right up but goes into limp mode. wont rev past 3200 but no CEL. iv been trying to figure it out for 3 months now. im about to give up and buy something else but i just lost my L for 3 months so i figure id still try to fix this. so pissed at it

check your wiring, check your distributor, both main causes for this problem, especially after converting to obd1

ive had this problem a few times most of the time it was because the two white wires on the dizzy plug were backwards. if you messed with the dizzy at all that might be the problem.
