Default injector wiring question

hi fellas. i just bought my first honda. its a 91 civic lx 4door with the d15 and now im planning on fixing it up. my question is can i bolt up a d16 intake manifold and wire up 4 injectors off the two? i dont know in what pattern they pulse as they are in the "throttlebody". would i have to use the d16 ecu instead? any input would help as ive never owned a honda but am very mechanically experienced.

yes you can bolt up the d16 intake manifold and wire 4 injectors off the two. you will need the d16 ecu. if the ecu and manifold came from a 88-91 civic/crx you will only need to do the multipoint convertion. if it came from a 92-95 civic, you will have to do a multi point convertion and obd 1 convertion.
search "dpfi to mpfi" and "obd0 to obd1" to get the wiring schematics and general info

I'd stay on OBD0 for less issues if your just switching to MPFI. You would also need the Distributor along with the intake manifold and ECM. Plenty of wiring to do. Have you considered Mini-Me?? just a little bit more work then you got Vtec.

Lol...please read up on this before you start ANYTHING!...

first off you will need a injector resister box or you will just fry all your injectors...

just read this...try searching the FAQ at the top of the page next time

send a pm to monotech on here. he makes the wiring harnesses for 150 bucks and they are plug and play except for just 4 wires at the ecu. might i recomend that you use the pg7 ecu from an integra so you have the 7200-7500 rpm rev limiter. i used a crx si intake manifold with d16z6 injectors so you dont need the injector resister box. trust me, the pwer difference will make you crap your pants.

thanks, i appreciate the help. my plans are to eventually put a t3 turbo on it, nothing too big that way it would be a descent daily driver still. that is why i was wanting to go with the mpfi upgrade. any other recommendations for this? i know ive got a lot to learn about these cars so dont be a dick about it.
