aem cold air

Default aem cold air

does anyone know why my CEL turns on after intalling the cold air?

si or non si? I know alot of people were having problems on the non Si civics with check engine lights

the si's have the same problem with aem intakes.

i havent heard any problems with injen yet.

i occasionally throw one with my aem cold air in my LX.

my solution...91 octane. seems to work. i only throw one now when someone stalls in my car

what about 93 premium cuz ive been using midgrade cuz gas is way too expensive

hey, brosi101, i had the same problem with my aem cold air intake, what would happen was that wen i was idling the engine would just die out, and the CEL would be on all the time, what it is is that the comp is just getting adjusted to the amount of air that is coming in compared to the factory, if you reset the comp and enter the code agen it should re adjust itself after a couple of days
