Ok in the morning my clutch pedal needs time to build up pressure and after it sits for a few minutes its fine. My slave and master cylinders were just replaced. Could this be what is causing my car to rev high when i step on the gas once in a while.

 

Anytime I hear " build up pressure" dealing with hydraulic systems, I believe it may have something to do with air in the system... Since the components were just replaced, there is a good chance of air in the system.

Have you bled the system since install?

When your car revs high when you get on the gas, it may be a slipping clutch...

no not since the install but it did during it though.

 

when the clutch is going out does the clutch pedal get stiffer to?

 

Not sure about the stiff clutch action, but I would go ahead and bleed the system really good and check your pedal adjustment to make sure nothing got boogered up when installing the new master cylinder...
