S2K PRO-2 CAMSHAFTS
WOULD THOSE CAMSHAFTS WORK WITH A STOCK H22A (JDM) BOTTOM END, OR WILL I LOSE OUT BECAUSE OF THE STOCK COMPRESSION. I HAVE CAM GEARS SO I CAN DEGREE THEM IN BUT MY QUESTION IS THAT WILL I LOSE HORSEPOWER BECAUSE THE STOCK COMPRESSION
WELL IS IT TRUE YOU NEED LOTS OF COMPRESSION FOR THESE CAMS TO WORK PROPERLY CAUSE IF SO I NEED TO SELL OR TRADE, I HAVE A STOCK BOTTOM END

TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK...
okay now my personal experience with Pro 2's on stock JDM H22 is a loss of power. degreed in i have heard of them making great power on a stock JDM H22. cam gears set at 0,0 and we had a power loss on two separate motors. dyno'd 190.1 on stock cams, pro 2's dyno'd 180.
we did have good results with pro 1's. set at 0,0 they made 210 whp stock JDM H22.

I havent touched a set of the H22 PRO2's, but I know with B series PRO2's, running at 0,0 will net you around .003-005" v2v clearance. Possible you bent some valves during tuning resulting in loss of power?
