Default Possible new owner. Questions!!

I am tired of my current car, a Mitsubishi 3000GT. It is pretty quick, but seems to take up all my money. I can not afford it anymore.

I am looking to move to something that is more reliable, good on gas, somewhat unique, yet still decently quick. After looking at some GSRs, I found that they are well within my price range and still have decently low miles (98, 99 for 5-6 grand w\ 70-80k miles seems to be the craigslist average). I do not plan on ricing it up lol.

I do have some questions though since I am new to the honda scene.

What exactly is the GSR, how does it differ from the regular integra?

Does the GSR have the b-18 or b-20? I have seen both of them mentioned on ads. What is the differences in these motors and what should I look for

How would you rate the GSR in terms of reliability?

How qould you rate the GSR in terms of "easy to maintain"? My 3000GT is a nightmare. Working on it is not easy. Almost nothing is in accessable reach. You must remove 10 other parts just to get to one so to speak.

Anything else I should know?

Thank you

No.

GSR is a GSR
Type R is a Type R

Two totally different cars.

Please use the regular Integra Forum.

Thanks

Exactly - keep this guy around. That's why I was polite in my redirection instead of posting "gtf0 noob"

Has anyone mentioned tho him that he should expect to pay about twice as much or more for a clean ITR?

Yes MattyP. That is because I am not some 16 year old kid who wants a Honda "b3czue 1t 15 in F8sT n FurIouS. I am t3h R8c0r w\ aN iNtaKe, H3adErz, and NaWWWZZZZZ!!!"

I want a Honda because it is practical, reliable, and decently quick (fun to drive). I am just getting information on it. Thanks for the responses guys.

If you are looking at the Integra TypeR, here is my break down base on your post above:
Pretty quick: Yes
Reliable: Yes
Good on gas: Yes
Unique: Yes, very unique
Well within your price range: No, it cost about twice of GSR
But seems to take up all my money: Yes, it WILLLLLLLLLL!
I do not plan on ricing it up: Please don't if you end up get one.
