honest opinion needed from body guys
hey i am currently searching for a new project but i just dont do body work. i let the pros handle that. but with that in mind i stumbled on this civic hatchback for decent price but i dont want to blow my budget just on body work alone.
Please keep in mind i dont have the car yet. i am still looking.
how much would this general cost to get fix. the correct way. the cheap way.

i was planning on buying the full quarter panel. and just have it done. just body work no painting.
Thanks,

IMO a decent body guy can repair that quarter. I don't think it would have to be replaced. You may need a new door skin and fender, though. I can't tell how badly they are damaged. I'm guessing that you didn't take this picture so requesting a front-end angle shot wouldn't be possible.
If you're seriously interested in it, make a stipulation in the bill of sale that states you will take it to as many bodyshops as you need to within a certain amount of time. If it is too bad or too expensive to fix, then you get your money back. Kind of like taking it to a mechanic within a week's time to make sure you're not in over your head.
Just a thought.
