is it ironic that im part of a subaru fourm online ?
these subaru guys have meets not too far from my buddys house , so i used to go to the parking lot and get food , they are mostly cool peopel , theya rent trying to steaal my parts either , wich is nice ,
MattyP: They arent impressed with my R either , and its fully built with this that and the other , they dont care that its limited production or whatever , its still a hinda to them , and hondas are rediculious in most of their opinions , so fukem
but the scooby guys near me are cool for the most part .

Sick pic.. must subie guys around me are cool and respond with "Is This thing really a R, thats sick" we have more 350z and g35 d bags... haha just shrug your shoulders and say "yea anyone can go to a dealership and get a WRX but you can't just go get a Type R" the look on there face is priceless

I've been there and done that with blue 4 legged bugs haha..
bashing my front wheeler honda..
but I really wouldnt mind a STi... i just dont like wrx..cuz it's so hyped

MattyP, I know what you mean about scooby driver not caring much about the ITR. I used to have a 03 Rex so I used to have my brother come with me with
the R to subie meets. No one really cared about it too much......but i guess its more about pplz preference.

There actually was one guy there that had just moved from Germany, Don't remember his name, but he was telling me that he use to hang out with one of the ITR guys on here at the Nurbering(spl) all the time...He was actually really interested in my car and talked to me alot about it

Putting a PY R next to just about any other fleet of cars will put them to shame. No one notices STIs on the road, but my PY gets plenty of "Hey I saw you last week"s and so on.
Why are so many STI and EVO lovers ******? Big deal, you went out and blew 35 g's on a car and threw on a boost controller and some new intercooler piping. Your a badass!!!
Plus I've noticed most of them end up selling their AWD cars after just a year because they made the mistake of taking out a loan they can never pay off. 
In a land of turbo'd clones, the R is king.

i sold my wrx to get the itr, majority of the older bay area i-club guys are track ******, they wouldnt get one, but they do appreciate the machine that the type r is... they just dont like driving fwd.. haha

Haha that's a great pic man! However if you had a chick in a bikini laying over your car and not theirs....well it would have just made it that much better! Perhaps we need to meet up this summer and snap some photos of gf's posing over our cars? lol
