Okay so I did some trouble shooting and I am pretty sure I need to replace the water pump on my 89 civic , but don't have the $50 that the Honda dealers want, will a generic water pump work just as good or do I have to shell out the $50?

 

Ive seen the water pump for like 30 bucks in autozone...
