cheapest and easiest way is to tape down the button on the pedal bracket.

well that would make sense assuming when you push down the button it completes the circuit and allows the car to be started...

You're asking for intermittent problems doing it that way.

Simply unplug it and jumper a wire from blue/whit to the back wire. zip-tie the plug out of the way and you're done.

or

connect the blu/wht wire to ground.

all you have to do is rip the wires off the switch and splice them together to make a complete circuit and call it a day...dont worry about breaking the sensor..no ones going to see it..

I just bought a crx that has this mod done to it, at first i was like ok whatever... but then when i got in it i realized i hadn't driven a stick in about 4 or 5 months, and don't really have the habit of pushing the clutch in to start anymore, but seemed to keep the habit of putting the car in gear when i get out.. so as you can assume, i jumped the gun a few times before i leared my lesson

I would think the easiest way would be just a vampire crimp and just crimp it :X. Just my .02 cents

Thats exactly why its bad. I always leave my car in neutral, but my roommate doesnt. Any time he has to move it almost is always left in gear. Even though mine starts without the clutch, i learned my lesson after i jumped it right through this little wooden fence we have. ******* parked it literally about 1 inch away from the fence, and then left it in first, and i was a hurry to get to work so i just jumped in and turned the key. My face was like as i tore through that fence and stopped about 5 inches from the gas lines for the house.

I made him fix the fence and my car was fine though.

I dont think either of the ef's i've owned (pre facelift and facelift) have prevented me from starting without the clutch in.
