NEED SOME HELP!!! H22a with chipped P06 ecu would this work.
I got an 92-96 h22a auto motor and wanted to used a P06 chipped ecu with a
94-97 ex accord tranny. would this work if i got a flywheel, clutch etc..
going in a 97 ex civic that already had an f20b with a obd2 to obd1 convertion harness running in it..
or would i need more stuff to do the swap.
also is the auto h22a motor have less HP/TQ than a h22 manual
thanks everyone, found some stuff in the search but not enough to anwser my question.

JDM h22a has .6 more compression then USDM h22a1/4, so a little more power and torque. If the chip inside that ecu holds map for Accord like f22 it should make the h22a running, but you will need to tune it ASAP.
So, in other words the ecu will control the motor but it will have to be tune.
and what about the auto to manual convertion is easy right i do have to get the clutch and the flywheel and assemble and call it the day.

i ran with a p06 for a while back when i got my car. as said youll NEED a tune, or at LEAST get someone to burn a basemap on the chip for you. the p06 and p28 are really similar, IIRC someone said a p06 could pretty much become a p28 with a few solders
