Default My 1st 3" Exhaust on the SOL

I had some time this weekend to work on my del sol, so i mocked up my 3" exhaust. LMk what you think, this is my first time welding, fabin' so it might be a lil rough on the eyes...
Welder and HB chop saw:

Mocking up my 3" flange to the flexpipe

Tacking the first bend

Welding the first bend

Flange welded ont the other side

Tacking the next couple bends

Finishing the last pipe and then some hanger

3rd last picture, it looks kinda sketchy, i think it would look more professional if you fabbed up a little cradle for it. if this is your first tiem welding than not too bad, is that just regular steel though or galvanized? also how much was that welder?

The piping is aluminize steel, and the welder was borrowed from my bodyshop...

that first butt weld on your first bend is very nice. Way to show all those noobs how a mig butt weld on pipe should look like. For some reason all noob welders on honda-tech always think this is the first weld they should try.

a little, but - I'm not much into the e85 bandwagon. I don't think it's advantages outweigh the disadvantages right now. Right now it's just another pawn in the form of the big-business/good ol' boys club/million dollar subsidies..... /rant!

Your welding looks pretty good for your first time ever (really?)!

everybody has their own opinion, I feel I got close to 10k in my motor, why settle for a daily safe 450whp when I can run a safe 585whp, screw the lost mpg or extra amount of E85 it takes to get the same AFR, be build our cars to make power, and a simple cheap fuel change DEFINATELY gets you more hp per buck. As an added benefit I am helping my country by using less import oil and I am giving a bigger chunk of my cash to hard working Americans.
