Default 2001 Accord Grill?

I love this clean look without the emblem. Can this be accomplished without major body work since this grill is attached to the bumper?

I believe the 6th gen coupes have a removable upper grill. 95% sure. You might not have to remove the bumper, but I may be wrong on this also. Some simple screws and clip is holding the grill down. So Shouldn't be too big of a mod.

eBay sell those grills. But of course this one was painted silver to match.

If you wanted to do this to the sedan, pretty impossible, but maybe with some bumper work... My friend with an 01 Civic Coupe has no emblems in front. He just popped out the Honda emblem and put on a mesh grill on top of the original grill. Works pretty well. Looks ok. Just not my style.

6th gen do have removable but not 01's since its attached but i mean you can make it work but the integrity of the bumper might not hold up

the picture is a 98-00 coupe bumper, they have are removable grille. you need to take off the bumper to undo the lower tab, you can take it off without it but you can break the lower tab.

the 01-02 have a intergrated grille, i think it looks much better with the side vents and all.

you can buy a 98-00 front bumper new(replica) for 85 dollar, my dad just dent his front 02 bumper and i order a 98 bumper for him(the 01-02 runs about 125), but it doesnt comes with the grille. I painted the bumper for him and it fits 01-02 without modification, he ends up getting a oem grille for it tho'
