car won't start.
me and my friend just did a compression test on my 93 del sol today and after we put back everything in place, it started for about 5 seconds and the engine died and it rotates/cranks but won't start. I've check the fuel pump and it's working. Also pulled the plug and check for spark but there was none. No CEL either. It has a D15B7 engine.
You possibly have a bad coil or igniter unit in the distributor. Also check for blown fuses and whether the ground wire on the thermostat housing is securely attached and not corroded.
i think you fried your ecu... one way to check... plug in the ecu that isnt working and turn your key to ON (dont start it), and if you cant hear the fuel pump prime then my guess is its your ecu. i fried a few like that.
ALSO, CHECK YOUR ECU FUSE!!!
