what? wrong... You sure you're not think H23, which in that case still lines up but ports are different shape.

They do line up and no, to my knowledge there isn't any serious mods that need to be done for it to go onto that head.

Just wondering what your reasoning is for swapping the F23 IM? And in what areas are you planing to gain by swapping them? Is it fuel economy, power or just a cheap replacement for a broken part?

I'm not familiar with the F23's specs. do they have a shorter/longer runner, larger/smaller plenum or larger/smaller Throttle body?

Just trying to broden my horizons is all

no, you don't have to drill any holes but you do have to remove some material from the mounting flange for the VTEC solenoid. Then the ports need some work, etc.

I don't recall if the runners are shorter or longer but the plenum is larger on the F23 intake manifold. I believe the throttle bodies are the same size but don't quote me on that.

Your going to have to port the F23 plenum to match the 60mm throttle body. If you look in the mouth of the throttle body with the butterfly open you will probably see a 3mm step/seam between the TB & plenum.

let me try and find the thread with that info. I remember doing a bunch of searching years ago when I was going to be putting the H23 IM onto my F22B1.

here you go...
http://www.accordinglydone.com...23+IM

pictures don't work but if you read it it states the F23 runners are shorter, the F23 ports are slightly larger and the F23 plenum is larger.

no way ... i have a a beast 94 coupe with f22b1 . i have dc headers . intake .. magnaflow exhaust .. 4 wheels discs .. h@r super sports .. etc ... but i have been reading up about throttle bodys .. and i thought ide look into this ... i was going to buy a skunk 2 . 70 mm.. throttle body .. . or itlease . something bigger then stock which i beleive is 55mm .. i took my tb off today and its filthy. and i also cleaned the intake manifold as much as possible .. im wondering how nasty it would be of an increase with the 70 mm tb .. and maybe even .. bore the stock manifold if its neccesssary .. im def interested!

i would say thats a goodd thing it sounds like a subaru.. does it run better though... the f22b1 has 147 trq stock and with minor .. /mild work .. it can be a nasty little n.a ... a good intake . exhaust.. header. (* throttle body should do a nice bit

Dude. Look at the date stamp. There's much improved threads about the subject.

And yes, its easy and worth the work.

The F22B1 in NA trim is never going to be truly "nasty" until you open up the block and increase the bore/compression. You can bolt parts onto these engines til the cows come home. But it will only get you so far.
