What rod bearing clearance do you guys try to get on a LS vtec motor? Around 500-600hp, driven hard. I notice the LS has a tighter clearance (low rev) compared to the GSR (high rev), should i go within the LS or the GSR rod bearing clearance? Tried searching and came up with nothing.

I always get .0015 to .0017

 

i think the helms says .0012 to .0020 with the service limit at .0024.

mine came out around .0017 with my #3 at like .0019 from the plastigauge
