Default What's a SSBP '98 GSR worth?

I've found a 98 SSBP GSR forsale that i'm looking into.

It's got a few mods, such as I/H/E, Buddy Club wheels, and maybe a set of springs. Other than that it's stock with ~102k miles.

The guy is asking $9k and it does have a pretty nasty place on the front bumper.

What is it really worth, considering it needs paint on the front bumper

For $9k, a 1998 (10 year old) with 102k miles had better be in pristine condition. Best of luck to the seller. He needs a reality check.

At the MOST. Those modifications on the car do not raise the value of the car and should obviuosly show the people looking at the car that he more then likely drove it hard and/or raced it. I would pay about 5500-6k for it. For 10k I would be looking at integra Type R's. Don't be fooled and don't get ripped off, just wait it out and you find something better.

Its not really his loss if he does sell it at that price. There's a sucker born everyday w/ money to spend. People always start high though and sell lower than what they expect. Good luck

So far i've been told $8500 without the N1 exhaust.

I'm gonna try to work him a little lower.

People have already said it, but hes a little high. I know its ssbp, but I just bought a stock cgp gsr w/ 72K miles for only 7K, and the thing is seriously in awesome shape. But hey, if you like it and its in nice shape, then go for it. I'd try to get him down to the 7's though

I got the same car with 120k on it. It's got an ITR transmission, Koni's, GC's and a ITR Swaybar with ASR brace. Body has one small dent on the hood. If I were selling (No PM'S please cause I'm not) I'd probably be asking for 6500-7000

I bought a 2000 GSR Sedan with 110K miles with intake/header, and MINT MINT MINT condition interior and exterior.

It was also a rare color: Voltage Blue Pearl.

All that for 6800.

You better not pay more than 7500 for that car

too much..

Found one about 5 months ago. The guy was asking $8000. Original owner, ~65k miles.

Same color and year gsr. Clean exterior, super clean interior. AEM pullys, AEM fuel gauge, dc header, exhaust. Mugen rims.

Even so I thought that was a lil too much.

The only one I have seen is down here in FL and it had 172K w/ a clean title for $8K. Only others you'll see for that price will have salvage titles. I've never seen a nice type r (meaning clean title, low mileage) for under 12K...

that was a steal

i call on the type r prices. i'd say 10-12k on the type R's in decent shape with salvage (or maybe clean) titles. 50k miles, all original, etc. call for upwards of 14 or 15k... as much as high teens. when you do more searches and find leads, come back here and post. otherwise, GTFO. don't believe me? search in the FS/WTB ITR vehicle thread that's stickied in the ITR forum.

to the OP, i wouldn't pay more than $7k (or $7.5k) for it. as with all used cars, it's worth whatever one is willing to pay for it. GL

either way at $8k or $9k, i think it's a damn steal for a clean titled 97...

even the ~$8k one here: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2, the PY one in Iowa is a decent deal... though it really needs some TLC
