Default An Intresting question has come up. need help

hey guys i have a 01 itr, which recently had its air bags deploy. I can get a set of bags from a 94' GSR. My question is will everything fit including the modulator? I assume that the bags itself would fit they all seem the same.

I hope someone could help, cause inturn it would save me more money.

Thank you for your help

I wouldn't install the older airbags - they are inferior technology. And since they are basically 8 years old - whose to say they will operate properly when you really need them???

Sorry to go semi-off-topic, but I too have a question.

I recently installed a Spoon steering wheel, which as you know disables the airbags, and so I removed them along with the SRS Control unit. If I were to switch back to an SRS steering wheel, could I still connect my airbags, if I install the control unit again?

OT: if yo got an aftermarket wheel ...with no airbag, is that legal, and will it still pass inspection on a car built with airbags in OEM condition

If the inspection requires you to have airbags, then you won't pass.

Yeah it should work just fine.Just make sure you disconnect them by the plugs and do not cut the wires cuz you might short out the unit.

Go ahead and use the GSR airbag,It will work just fine.In 8 years the airbags have not changed at all.
