Just bought a civic, a/c not workign
Got a question.
Bought a 97 Civic for 1000 bucks but the a/c doesnt work.
Went to put freon in but it had plenty of psi. I tried putting some in anyway but it didnt work. It blows warm air. The previous owner told me that it gradually took longer for the a/c to get cold but not sure if that helps.
Where should i start to troubleshoot this? What do you guys think it might be based on the limited info? This is my first honda and i know nothing about them. Otherwise, the car drives great and i'm very happy to own it.

Well a shop that does AC can help you figure that out. Ac compressor or condenser or both. good luck. I personally need a compressor.
