does anyone have any pics of this done? is there any problems with doing this. i noticed that a gen 2 hatch iis wider than a gen 3hatch. does it lookfunny cause its wider?

 

Yeah it does look funny. They came out with the Hiro spoiler for the gen 2s but it is extremely rare and expensive. Since the hatch is a little narrower on the gen 3s, the spoiler will come out looking off. Especially on a car that doesn't have curvy body lines to match the spoiler.

I say go with the carbon fiber hatch cuz that looks sooooo gooooood

 

I've seen one around where I live and yes it does look bad, IMO just got wingless it looks a lot better especially on a 2nd gen.

Guy your not going to be able to mount a 3rd gen wing to 2nd gen teg...will not happen. Just trust on this one you dont want to do it, go wingless or shave the middle leg on a stock 90-93 ls wing thats what i did when i had my da looked nice and clean

 

i have both a 00 gsr and 93 ls, and i know that a gen 3 spoiler will fit on a gen 2, but its a matter of how it would look. im kinda thinking cf hatch and wingless. but still would like to see a gen 2 with an itr wing.

 

if you could get a hold of a hiro wing. that would be the one to put on your car. it's kinda like a type r for a gen 2

 

If you guys thought a gen3 itr wing on a gen2 looks funny. I've seen a gen2 with a Type S wing that lived near me. The car got stolen before I could get an oppurtunity to take a pic of it

but i talked with a sponsor from T-I and he said he can get me an oem style hood and hatch made by seibon or vis (my choice) for 1000$ shipped. so im just about possitive that im going to go that route.

yeah me too, so ill give "respect" to anyone that does it or shows me a picture of a gen 2 with and itr spoiler.

^that looks half way decent. however, the ITR spoiler isn't as boxy... so it won't look as good...

that's the hiro i was talking about goodluck finding it.

 

damn it. everyone always always refers to that damn hiro wing. dont get me wrong, thats an awesome wing an i would love to have one but its too rare and would prob never get my hands on a genuine one. next closest wing would be an itr wing. maybe ven an si wing. so i still want to see a gen2 with an itr wing!!! lol
