Hey everyone. I'm rebuilding a 1st gen jdm b16a. I've looked and looked and can't seem to find the correct specs. I've downloaded service manuals, and searched different forums and so far, haven't had any luck. I've found the 2nd gen b16 specs, as well as the b17 specs, but I don't want to risk there being one measurement that is off and having my new engine not last. Is there anyone out there who knows where to find them? The engine is in the machine shop, but they can't do anything without the specs. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

 

Nobody knows? I guess the problem is that they never had any 1st gen b16's over here in the states. I'm sure they are out there, and more than likely they are the same as the 2nd gen, but I just don't feel comfortable taking that risk.

 

i am rebuilding right now, i have a helms manual for the head and block. i wouldn't worry too much about 1st vs. 2nd gens. the specs are all the same. send me your email address and i'll send you the manual for the head and block.
