ek rear suspension in eg question searched
ok maybe i didnt searched well or something, but a friend sold me some omnis from his ek hella cheap, and I wanted to use them in my my eg, I heard the fronts are the same but what can I do for the rears?
I am not sure if Omni made specific struts for an EG/DC and EK. If they did, you will need to shave down your LCA bushings. Ask your friend if Omni provided washers for his EK, if they did then the struts are universal between 92-00 Civics and you won't need to shave your LCA bushings.

The 96-00 rear shock to LCA bushing is about 1/4'' or a little more THINNER than the 92-95 bushing.
This means that if you buy a kit for the 92-95, you bought a kit that will fit from 92-00. The 96-00 just needs washers to use a 92-95 kit.
However, you can't go the other way. Shaving down your bushing isn't the greatest idea. You bought the wrong suspension. Tell your friend to give you a refund or you'll kick his dog.
