this is kind of a stupid question but i was wondering if you can start a motor, more specifically a b16a without the alternator on? thanks

 

yes it will start and run but not for long. It will drain the battery quick.

 

yes it will start i drove my civic with a bad alternator for a few weeks with a bad alternator but i would strongly suggest getting an alternator. your battery will die within a few minutes of turning the lights on so no night driving.
