Default h- series franckinstiens

ok can any body help me out ive searched far and wide i got a h22a threw a rod through the block so i got a h23 block adn i want to take the crank from the h22a being that it is stronger and holds more torqe at higher rpms than the h23. so do i use the h23a rods and h23 pistons connected to the h22 crank or do it h22 crank, rods and pistons? now every one ive read about doing these frankinberry swapps have run into the problem of running the h23 crank, rods, and pistons with the h22a head have said that the piston goes over by 2mm and u hit the head. so im wondering if one would use the h22a crank then use the h23 rods this should work fine right im lost help me get it rite i just wanna go faaaaaaaaaaast!!!!!

h22 block have different size mains than h23 blocks so the crank wont just go in.

General rule of thumb is use the same rods as you do crank.

I really dont like H23 cranks due to the size compared to h22s but my suggestion would be an h23vtec for you
