THIS MEET IS NOT AT MARCUS DAIRY IT IS ABOUT 10 MINS DOWN THE ROAD

This meet is being hosted and brought to you by myself and the rest of the East-Imports.com staff.

Alright guys, here's the deal. Myself (01GSRDC2) and JayR (PinoyDelSol) have been trying our best to get the owners of Marcus Dairy to let us do another meet, but because of all the stupid shyt that happened last year, that won't be happening. Instead we are moving the new location to the Danbury PAL building, about 10 minutes from Marcus Dairy. This is a legit meet and because we are paying to rent out the lot, there will be a small admission fee, nothing anyone can't handle, and food WILL be cheaper than last year. The PAL building's kitchen will be open and cooking food as well as their bathrooms. There will also be food/hot dog stands and ice cream trucks, a DJ, a raffle with free giveaways, and a few POLICE OFFICERS to make sure nothing stupid is happening. We would like to make this meet just as, if not more successful than the previous Marcus Dairy meets and would love for you all to be a part of it! - This is a Honda meet but all are welcome!

- There will be absolutely NO burnouts, engine revving, speeding through the parkinglot, street bikes doing stunts. Remember police officers will be there to take the necessary actions they need for people who get out of hand.

- You are welcome to bring chairs, canopies, whatever you need

- If this meet ends up being as successful as we hope...you can bet that there will be many more to come!

*Time*
- 9am to 5pm or whenever you want to leave
- Vendors be there at 8am

*Admission*
- $5.00 a person
- $50 a vendor
- We WILL know who has payed and who hasn't, as well as the police
- Admission fees are to cover rental of the lot, police and DJ
- If you're going to complain about $5, don't come

*Parking*
- 300+ Car parking lot but can accommodate more
- 1 car per parking space...no double parking or "JDM" crooked parking
- If you plan on bringing your car on a trailer, PM me for details. There will be no room for trailers on our lot but I have arranged an alternative parking for them

*Food*
- The PAL building's kitchen will be cooking food
- Hot dog and other food stands
- Ice Cream Trucks

*Beach*
- This location is right across from Danbury's town park and Candlewood Lake beach. It will be open to anyone that would like to go over there

- I-84 Westbound: Take exit 6 toward Route 37/New Fairfield; at bottom of ramp, turn right onto North St./Route 37, at first light, turn right onto Hayestown Ave., go 2/10 mile, turn left onto Tamarack Ave. (Tamarack Ave. becomes E. Hayestown Rd.), go 8/10 mile to Danbury PAL on right located at 35 Hayestown Road.

- I-84 Eastbound: Take exit 5 toward Route 37/Downtown Danbury/Bethel, at stop sign at end of ramp, go straight on Downs St. for 1/10 mile and straight through first light (crossing Main St.)(Downs St. then becomes North St./Route 37), go 6/10 mile, turn right onto Hayestown Ave., go 2/10 mile, turn left onto Tamarack Ave. (Tamarack Ave. becomes E. Very glad to see this happening. I know Dan tried to smooth things over with Sean, but he got burned by our people too often and that was it. Might be able to make this and now that were not running it I can actualy walk around!

 

haha yeah i talked to sean also. what vendors did you have last year? i need some lol, but yeah do your best to come down, should be a good time

there is a possibility that honda tuning/import tuner will send out a photograper so keep them cars clean!!

 

you can count me in and ill try to spread the word... def. dont what all the B.S. that when on late year to happen this year...put me on the list

 

dont worry well have police this year to make sure its not getting out of hand

dan and his guys probably put on the best marcus meet ever last year, I hope this one is even better !!

 

Lol, it was just 2 of us. That was a good meet though. This year with not having ANY responsibilty we can walk around n ****.

I am very glad to see you were able to work an alternative location. You can count me in.

JDmotorsports and I ran Marcus the last few years and can offer you some input or help should you need it.

FYI, I don't know if you have hired the police yet, but generally they cost a lot to do private functions, or so we were told. That was a huge reason we never were able to.

 

Its being held at the PAL building. Police Athletic League. I think there might be a few officers around. One of the benifits of having it there.

Having to park in spots is gonna suck... wont be able to get good pictures of "standout" cars. Also i think it should be $5 a car... not $5/person. Last years meet had about 300 cars, that should cover your costs right?

 

If i remember correctly most of the cost was covered by vendors and pre-payements. I personaly think spaces are great cause it helps keep things organized.

 

ill be there(count me in) but im with dunkd, photo shooting is gonna be shitty cause cars are packed. Figures the first year i get a legit camera....
