Default repainting my trim

Hey I got a 90 Crx SI and I was going to repaint my door trim.. I got started yesterday and then ran into a problem. I was able to undo the bottom of the door panel but I couldnt get the top to unsnap. I wasnt sure if there was a screw, bolt, or just a snap. I didn't force it to much because I was afraid to break something. If anyone could tell me how to get the door panel off completely it'd be greatly appreciated. Ill post pics when I'm done painting..

Your talking about the inside door panels? Make sure you get the door handle and the armrest screw. I think theyre the only two from memory. I don't think the top 'snap's' either, once the bottom has been popped out it should be able to be lifted up.
