Are b18a motors good at handling turbo?
im looking to get a cheap swap but one that is b series, and one that can handle a decent amount of boost 6-10lbs safe stock. are b18a's good and handling boost? IF not what do you recommend i do...i have an 88 civic. anyone here have that setup?

i'm assuming you don't have crazy high goals, so just get a dsm 14b turbo, and piece the rest together. with the stock internal waste gate you'll be running around 7-10 psi.
although keep in mind that psi doesn't determine horsepower.
and to avoid getting ripped apart, like the other guy said, start doing some reading. cause there's a lot to learn.

check out the boosted section of H_T and also classifieds you will save a lot of $$$
but something that I never got is that most people die to boost but once they boost in less than six months the car is sold...
in my opinion best off with a nisan sentra SER
