the infamous koni GC questions..
i am purchasing front koni "yellows" and koni specific GC with top hats all around from someone and he is missing the rear shocks to complete this set..my question is..what koni "yellow" shock do i go with?...the race or the sport?..the price really varies too...
it seems that the difference in these two are the "race" is shortened body length and valved...if thats the case would you still need the top hats for those?..they seem a little too extreme for my needs...lol

Off the shelf "Yellows" for spring rates up to 600 lbs/in, SPSS3 race valving for higher rates.
You don't need extended upper mounts for the back with either, but it probably wouldn't hurt anything (except total droop) to use them with the full length Yellows. It would probably be a bad idea to use them with shortened shocks though.
