hey guys this guys is tryn to sell me a 2000 jdm engine and head i just wanted to kno if there was anyway to tell if this was in fact a true 2000 jdm b16 ? thanks guys

also is there anyway to tell the year on a tranny?

 

by the exhaust manifold on the head, theres like 3 or 4 little circles with a slash through the middle of them, and a number on each side, one of them say 0/0. If it's a 2000, 9/9 if it,s made in 1999 9/6 if 1996. and so on. I don't know about the tranny though. hope that helps.

 

the VIN number on the engine and trans will help get close, but the head is the best place to start.
