Hey everyone, I need some help i have searched the net Honda tech and am looking for some input in to paint. Its a 90 ef and the rust has been cut out and repaired stupid Canadian winters.. I just want to have it one color again. I have a compressor and can borrow a HVLP gun from a friend so why not try it. I have seen alot of great paint jobs on here and figured maybe i can make a post one day to and help someone else.

I was thinking a single stage paint. PPG i have read is good paint so I found a local supplier that can get that for me. How much paint do i need. The bumpers, molding, and mirrors will remain black. SO just the fenders, doors, roof, rear quarters , and the little bit on the rear where the key hole is.

Another question is can i get this paint color matched to my car which will save some money not having to paint jambs and engine bay. (the color is Pewter Gray Metallic Clearcoat NH-537M) Can i get this as a single stage?? Also i believe hardner and reducer is required. Can anyone confirm what i need.

I just want a half decent paint job im not looking to win best paint at any show just want my daily to look half decent. Thanks for taking the time to read my run on sentence and any help that is offered.
