picking off the Civic DX logo off my rear hatch. what can i use for the sticky stuff?

Default picking off the Civic DX logo off my rear hatch. what can i use for the sticky stuff?

Hey guys, Im removing off my rear hatch the Civic DX sticker from the factory.

what can I use to remove the left over sticky adhesive with out hurting the clear and paint on my EG

if you can pull it into a garage steal your girl freinds hair dryer and heat it up and wipe it off then use windex

um i used that orange citrus spray! worked good

i used bug/tar remover that i got at napa worked well for me on pulling sticker off back of my car

You'll have a "ghost" of the old lettering even after you take it off. Buff with compound + polish afterwards

try goo gone...it supposed to take off glue from things like that.

lighter fluid works well for taking off sticky stuff... the goo gone and bug&tar removers work well also

WD-40 also works. Doesnt hurt the paint. Plus it works on tar and gum.

I used goo gone.

And promotive is right, you'll want to polish it afterwards, had to on my S2000 and on my prelude.

whats a good compount to remove the Ghost?

and do i hand buff or use a buffing machine?

you can get goo gone probably anywhere. walmart, target, etc...

and i would use a buffer to remove the "ghost"
