vtec cylinder head...
i got 2004 si as a used...
and then i just found out a receipt saying that they installed new vtec cylinnder head....
after a year he bought the car.
i got the car from a dealer so they don't know about it...
do you guys have any ideas if it would affect my car negatively???
and plus, in what cases would they have to change "vtec cylinder head?"

The previous owner was most likely being very hard on the vehicle and either:
a) sucked a valve
b) timing belt snapped and cylinder came up and hit an open valve, bending it.
c) FUBAR'd it trying to modify it and had to replace it.
d) Overheated and warped the head beyond repair.
e) Something mechanical and it was cost effective to replace it rather than rebuild it.

There should be no "negative effects" if the work was done properly. Monitor your oil and coolant for change of color. If you haven't had any problems with it, chances are you won't.
