I have a 93 prelude and I’m trying to remove my rear seats and covering it with carpet so it can look nice I saw a pix on the 4th gen pix post topic and it looked nice but the guy is never on line when I am. Thanks who ever helps

 

I am about to do the same thing . i just looked in the manual. The procedure is quite simple. I would recommend you do a search on rear seat removal, i am sure there is a good write up on how to do it that someone wrote about 6 months ago. When you have a chance get a manual, you can get them cheap online . I have decided that when i do mine i am going to do the lot, gut it al, and then carpet a couple of comparts for storage. At the moment i dont have the time , but hopefully it will happen soon . Goodluck with you Prelude

 

Rear seats are a breeze.

For the Seat cusions, there is a little black tab that you can pull out and the seat comes out. For the other set of cusions, you are going to need a wratchet set.

Pretty easy, I have mine out right now. Im in the middle of painting my interior black.

 

thanks ill pull them out and use thick plastic sheets and cover it with carpet then use that braket and put it back
