flipping a swapped ef?
whats up guys..run an automotive shop in raleigh nc..we also sell cars..but having a hard time picking the right ones to sell..i have alot of people believe it or not that want between 88-95 civics swapped or just simple aftermarket parts. (springs,i/h/e maybe some wheels) my question is if i can get a hold of a couple Ef hatches and throw some inexpensive swaps such as sohc vtec/zc engines or even LS. do you think i can make a profit..what are these cars going for now a days? appreciate all your info
You never get wat u put into car esp a honda. And if u run a shop ur probably paying somone for labor. So I doubt you can make a profit. just my 2 cents.
me? for a car that old, $2500 to $3000 if it was clean... but then again I just bought a clean '91 CRX Si (bone stock, babied, 130k miles) with mugen RNR wheels for $3000 and i don't mind doing the swap in my garage.
in my opinion, a swapped car is less desirable b/c as far as i can tell, the only reason people swap engines is so they can drive the car hard.
