07 S2000 trans-whats it worth
So I work for a Honda dealer and recently had a 07 come in with 15,000 miles. Customer complaining the clutch is slipping and pedal hard to press. She says its something mechanical and not her fault.
So as per Honda rep I pull the trans and find clutch is gone. She says she cant afford it and get this voluntarily repos her car. So now I've been waiting for the bank to decide if they are going to pay for a new clutch and the reinstallation or just tow it out of there.
The car has been apart for about 3 months and still waiting on the bank. I've seen similiar situations like this where they come and just grab the car and some parts ie. engine, trans, interior is left as they take the car as is to the auction. In the past made some good money off of **** they leave behind.
Probably a long shot getting ahold of this trans but one thing thats in my favor now is some lot attendents pushed the car out of customer parking up against a fence in the back of the lot where cars get robbed all the time(complete idiots). So Im giving it 2 weeks before top is cut, seats, steering wheel, wheels and shift **** are gone. With the car not even driveable to begin with maybe they total it and come grab it.

It already has been repoed. Its called a voluntary repo. The customer basically gave the car back to the bank. I'm just waiting for the bank to make up there mind. I've seen cars leave minus heads and trans before so it may be unlikely but still possible. I got the trans, manifold, cat, alt, propeller shaft and a burnt up clutch and flywheel.

Man id definitly buy it. Do you have a chance to do such a thing? if so, id get it away from the fence before all the ***** gone out of it.
You could turn a big profit off it. the first have of the clutch job is done already... easy fix.
