converting ecu from auto to manuel

i have a p28 usdm ecu that is auto. how hard is it to convert it to manual? i can't really find a cheap manual ecu

Its really easy. It involves removing resistors rp 17 and rp 18 and putting in a jumper wire in place of rp 18. There are diagrams on it somewhere.
